how is accessibility tested?
Accessibility is tested by inspecting structural code, content and website performance with assistive technology.
Manual testing is used for all structural and presentational code, as well as analysing content. Software tests conducted are:
- colour contrast analysis
To test your website against assistive technology, the following are used:
- screen magnifier software
- screen reader software
- Lynx text browser
Standards compliance is checked on all pages tested for accessibility.

A report is presented during a meeting with clients on completion of testing. At the end of the meeting you will have a clear indication of current accessibility issues and actions required to improve your website.
